What can I expect from Counseling?

There are no specific guarantees when you attend counseling sessions, but you can expect to have a safe emotional space and a listening ear. To gain personal insight and understanding regarding patterns and behaviors that aren't serving you. To be challenged, probably more than you would like to be if I'm honest. And to be equipped with new skills and tools that can help you better manage your day to day life, and personal relationships if you use them as intended.

How long will it take until I get better?

There is no exact answer to this as it truly does depend on each individual and their circumstances. Some clients see improvements fairly quickly, while others will see a slower progression. I do have regular check ins with clients to discuss their progress and goals so we can ensure we are on track, and that we are focusing on what is most important to them. Most client begin to see significant progress between 2-6 months based on their specific circumstances.

Do you take insurance?

Accepting insurance can be a complicated process, so I do not take insurance at this time. However, I am working to begin accepting som EAPS, and once this is in place it will be another option to access care. In the meantime I work very hard to keep my prices reasonable compared other others in my field, and have the session bundles as another resource to make sessions more attainable. Healing is an investment, and sometimes it may make since to save up for it so you can receive the discounted rate while it is available.

Do you accept EAP's or Loveland Vouchers?

Yes, I accept both of these items. Please let me know at the beginning of your consult if this is how you plan to pay for sessions and I can let you know the steps that need to be taken for the Loveland Voucher, and whether the EAP you have is one I am in network with and accept.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept debit and credit card transactions which will be made through the secure Sessions Application. All payments will be charged before services are rendered.

Do you have any pro-bono or free sessions?

No, all of my services have fees associated with them. However, please check out the counseling bundles available for purchase as you can snag sessions for a more affordable cost. Counseling can be an investment, and it may make sense to save funds for a period of time so you can take advantage of the lower cost of purchasing multiple sessions at once.
